Actually, what I'm saying is that the old testament law could not be fulfilled. That law was not some arbitrary set of rules set up by God because he found them amusing. They were the moral and spiritual laws which were in existence from the beginning. This entire discussion is based on the Bible, and as such the assertion can be made that there are certain absolutes in the universe. One of these is morality. Right and wrong. Good and evil. I would contend that you follow God first. Part of God's law is to follow the laws of the land. This, however, only stretches so far. As a Christian, one sees God's law as the supreme law, and as such one would only follow the laws of the land as long as they do not contend with God's law.
