Now that is interesting.
I've often wondered myself how the original world looked like. Adam and Eve certanly were not more than one race, as today we have dozens of races and colors to humans.

And why are there not the same species as there were at the begining?

There is an argument that all of us are bisexual to a degree, some more towards the extreme ends of the scale than normal, others over around the middle, and sub-middle ranges.

There was a study on this that is blasted by religous orginizations called the Kinsey (sp?) scale.

http://home.att.net/~broddr/kinsey_scale.html

^ theres some interesting read.

But this study concluded that roughly 10% of the population fall on the greater half of the scale homosexuals. Or more than 60% homosexual feelings.

Now however difficult it is to measure how much time one feels aroused or attracted to the same or opposite gender is a bit beyond me, but Kinsey found a way.

Could this scale be the kind of scale that always is. Obviously two single dots, Adam and Eve, are not going to have much of a difference in the scale; but when you plot 6 billion dots on there -surely they are not all going to fall less than a 3 on the kinsey scale.

And this question leads a bit into evelution. I know this is a hot topic, but for me the evidence is overwhelming, especially since we evolve ourselfs throughout our lifetime.

Our adult bodies are so much more different than ours as a child. Our brain changes over time. It physically changes. Viruses, cells, bacteria have noticeable mutations in order to survive thier environment. By definition, this is evelution.
It is noted, however, that larger orginisms with longer lifespans take much longer to evolve.

This is much the same with radioactive decay.

So even elements change and evlove.

I don't understand why religous orginizations have such a huge problem with Darwin's theory of evelution.

There is a quote 'A piece of art is never complete. It can always be improved upon.'

God thinks same with the world.
Look at crocidiles and thier ancestors and tell me that animals do not evolve. Look at the past skeletons of human remains and see the difference between the humans of today, reguardless if carbon dating is purely acurate; you have to admit that humans changed over time.

Why is everyone's DNA different? Obviously it is not the same as the parent's. Thier DNA carries an identifyable trait of the parent, but the child is completely unique. This is the same for all living orginisms.

Evelution is probably religion's bigest help in providing a way to prove God. Without DNA and it's changes (evelution), the human race would look excatly the way it did when neanderthals walked the earth. Our brains would not have improved. And I highly doubt that a neanderthal could concieve what today's humans can.

Look at dogs, for example, they have many, many different races. Did all those races exist at the begining? No. And if no, then how did different colors and styles of dogs come about?

Changes in genetice code and DNA over time, and yes, sometimes from radiation - others are just wierd flukes of nature.

Not every child is perfect out of the womb. There are many, many birth defects. Siameese twins, stillbirths, grossly abnormal body dimentions. All of these come from perfectly healthy women, who treated thier bodies well during pregnancy. Are these perfect? No. They are part of the world which is constantly changing to be perfect, yet always constantly flawed.

Our bodies adapt to our climate, and as the climate changes - think artic regions - our bodies change. And likewise, as our current knowledge grows, our mind grows with it.

If the world did not grow, then we would always be children. However, that is not the case.

God starts it, then makes changes over time.

There is nothing evelution that is a threat to current religous philosophy.

I can prove how God can create Adam out of the dirt - quite litteraly. Modern man most likely did not come from apes, otherwise apes could talk and make marvlous things like us. God most likely decided to make an improvement on an already proven structure to hold our souls in while we make the journey to Home.

So there is diversity, and it comes with time. Diversity is part of nature, it is il-refuteable.
The bible points many times to the animals and what they do, as an example of what is natrual. After all, they are God's creatures as well.

Did those animals 'learn' homosexuality from some abuseive past? Most likely not.

They are just part of the spectrum that was never really studied or looked at until recently.

Peace,
~Chris
