But, earlier, X, you were trying to suggest that gays and lesbians had good mental health. So the link to mental health is one that you established. Now, you're admitting that 1% of gays and lesbians are insane and murderous -- a very very high percentge! -- but, of course, NOW you're saying that has nothing to do with their orientation. It's unfair of you to make the link when it serves you and cut it when it doesn't. Is there a link between sexual orientation and mental health? If so, you'd better take the bad with the good.
Please, don't assume I really think that gays and lesbians are more insane or murderous than the rest of the population. In fact, I don't believe that at all. All I'm doing is addressing your argument, not making one of my own.

Ok, let's compare two of the points you quoted regarding child molestation:
POINT ONE:

Huh? Are they really trying to say that men who abuse boys are really heterosexuals?? That's nuts. It seems obvious to me that someone that has a desire to molest boys is a GAY man who is faking a heterosexual relationship with his wife. That's far more likely than he's faking his desires for same-sex boys! I can't understand why anyone would call this kind of person a heterosexual, when he clearly prefers male children over female children! Just because he's married or in a hetero relationship doesn't make him hetero. Lots of gay men are married and in the closet! The next most logical explanation is that he's bisexual. But there's NO CHANCE that a man who chases after boys is doing so out of HETEROsexual desire. What a ludicrous idea!
So obviously, these definitions are screwy, so we don't know how many of these offenders are genuine homosexuals. Plus, there's this, from the same website:

Now we have even less of a grip on the issue. If you only have a sample of 3%, it's tough to know what the other 97% is up to. No doubt, if we could measure ALL child molesters, we would see some kind of change in the profile. See why I don't trust these statistics and studies? You pull off the lid and it's all smoke and mirrors.
Now, be VERY CAREFUL here. I am NOT saying gays and lesbians are child molesters, or that they tend to be, or anything. I am not making any claims, EXCEPT that the conclusion that heteros molest more often than homos is not proven by any means from the facts you provided. The fact is, we don't yet know who molests more often, at least not from the facts you provided. Let me put it this way: I might be able to prove that a certain person did not break into my house last night, but doing so does not establish who DID break in. I'm just opening the question.
