: Please read the attached article. Sounds pretty accurate. http://www.wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=28290
I agree Troy Perry grasps at straws on some things, but how is this article accurate and unbiased when the author thinks gay = "a life of sadness, loneliness, pain, and even death". There are millions who can prove him wrong. Gays who live life to the fullest in compassion, respect, love for fellow man and God. How is falling in love with someone and making a life together so sad?? Um, yeah, it's terrible. Quite the agenda. Letting people know gays are human too and their love, and even lust, is similiar to heterosexuals. That they can have great, happy, and fulfilled lives. Oooh, call the religious/pious/Pharisees/those who live by the law police. The word's getting out. Don't get in the way.
Sounds like the author is quite bitter, had experiences with bad behavior (not gay in and of itself), then blaming it on being gay because of faulty, very debatable religious teaching. He has every right to say it. But for you to say it's accurate is highly questionable.
Have you thoroughly read any of the piles of evidence on this website about what the writers of the bible meant - not only what is said that seems so clear?? There are tons of stuff in the bible that seem so clear that X-tians go out of their way to explain it away...hmm, sound familiar? If anyone is perverting scripture it's those who are not willing to dig and see the original meanings of a few verses concerning this issue. How odd and ironic.
