The fall of Sodom & Gomorrah had more to do with what they did with their abundance then anything else. The sexual immorality came as a result the their extra down time and pride. The real idea is to keep buisy doing something for God with your down time and stop focusing on our own pleasure.
Eze 16:48-50 As I live, says the Lord Jehovah, Sodom your sister, she nor her daughters, has not done as you have done, you and your daughters.
Behold, this was the iniquity of your sister Sodom; pride. Fullness of bread and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters. Nor did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.
And they were haughty and did abominable things before Me, so I turned away as I saw fit.
