Bah, your Bible example is totally irrelevant. What
you wear and who you have sex
with are completely different things. Besides, sacrifices
were not needed after Jesus fulfilled the Law of Moses.
Back to the point and since you mentioned the Bible,
does Soddom and Gomorrah ring a bell? The fate of that
city was regarded as a warning against sensual wickedness
(ie homosexuality, beastiality, etc.) The Lord made it
perfectly clear how he stood on the issues.
And you're right, Christ did say to make sure you
yourself are pure, but he and countless other prophets
in the New and Old Testament say to warn their fellow men
and, in some cases, call them to repentance.
Nowhere in Sharon's post did she "cast stones in
His name." She quoted the Bible to prove her point.
And I agree with her, everyone should have a loving
mother and father figure in their family, it is the
way God intended it.
