I am tired of reading so many things that people write in ignorance.
First, LOVE is LOVE, regardless of the specifics of the situation. Second, God loves EVERYONE, regardless of who or what they are. Which one among you can cast the first stone?
I wish people would realize that each one of us is an individual. There are a lot of gay perverts out there. There are a lot of staight perverts, too. Marriages fail. Whether they are gay or straight does not matter. Marriages succeed, whether they are gay or straight does not matter. Being gay or straight is only one facet of a persons's character and being. We all must look beyond this single identifier and see who that person truly is.
God neither condemns nor glorifies homosexuals or heterosexuals. The Bible is not to be understood by everyone, nor is it written to be understood the same by everyone. Remember the Tower of Babel? I pray to God when I read the Bible that he will give me understanding and I think everyone should do the same.
Even in the Bible it says that God doesn't need the Bible to reveal himself. God is evidenced by all he has created. Beauty is God. Love is God. Kindness, generosity, etc. All the best things in the world are God.
Only ignorant people read the Bible as a code of laws that must be strictly followed or burn in torment forever. The Bible is God revealing himself more directly to man. The Bible has conflicting passages. True! God desires that we be conflicted and believe in him by FAITH, not anything else. By conflicting us, we are being challenged to seek Him out and not merely use the Bible as step-by-step instructions. Seek and ye shall find. The Bible was also translated and manipulated by man. One must research and seek to understand it as God intentioned.
I have talked quite a bit;I apologize. I pray that we all find a way to come together and truly understand the Word of God and God Himself.
